So you should not use these cotton buds for cleaning the wax out of your ear canal to avoid any damage that could happen and lead to hearing loss. In contrast, you can use them freely to clean the external parts with no wares.

Cotton buds can also use for other different purposes like the following: 

- Applies the eye make-up and removes it.

- Remove the nail polish by wetting the cotton stick tip with acetone.
